Turkey International Student Admission Exam (TR-YÖS), which is held in 6 languages in order to attract more qualified and larger numbers of international students to universities in Turkey, will be held in 78 centers in 52 countries.
Applications for 2024 TR-YÖS/1, which will be held by ÖSYM on May 18, will be made between March 1-18.
The Council of Higher Education increased the number of countries where the Turkish International Student Admission Exam (TR-YÖS), which is organized to attract more qualified and more international students to universities in Turkey, will be held from 25 to 52.
2024 TR-YÖS/1, which international candidates who want to study at higher education institutions in Turkey will be able to take and use their results when applying for admission to these institutions, will be held on May 18 this year. Applications for 2024-TR YÖS/1 will be made on the ÖSYM website between 1-18 March.
The exam, which will be held in 6 languages: Turkish, German, Arabic, French, English and Russian, will be held in 52 countries and 78 centers.
State universities will no longer organize their own exams to accept international students, and will be able to use TR-YÖS results or high school grade point averages such as IB, Abitur, GCE AL, which are accepted as valid by the Council of Higher Education. Foundation higher education institutions will also be able to accept students with TR-YÖS results. The Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB) will also use TR-YÖS in its student admissions.
In order to apply for 2024 TR-YÖS, the following conditions are required:
Provided that they are in their final year of high school or have graduated;
• Foreign nationals,
• Foreign nationals who have renounced Turkish citizenship / blue card holders,
• While he was a foreign national, he became a Turkish citizen with citizenship acquired later. dual nationals who acquired citizenship,
• Turkish nationals who completed their entire high school education in high schools abroad (except TRNC high schools) and one of whose nationals is Turkish. dual nationals,
• He is a TRNC national; Those who reside in this country and have GCE AL exam results and completed their secondary education (high school) in TRNC, and those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by registering and receiving education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010.

2024 TR-YÖS/1, as well as in Türkiye, TRNC, Germany, USA, Afghanistan, Albania, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Algeria, Djibouti, Chad, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Morocco, France, Gabon, Ghana, Guinea, India, Netherlands, Iraq, Cameroon, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyz Republic, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kotdivuar (Ivory Coast), North Macedonia, Libya, Malaysia, Mali, Egypt, Mongolia, Moldova, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, Senegal, Somalia, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda, Jordan, Greece/Komulcine will be held in a total of 78 center.
